Kappa Loyal Hunting and Outfitters was founded in 2001 with the goal of providing our blindholders and their guests the finest duck hunting experience with minimal demands on their time and energy. The fact that our clients return season after season is perhaps the best testament to our success.
We offer only 30 exclusive blinds on approximately 3,600 contiguous acres of pristine freshwater marsh nestled between the Mississippi River and Bayou Des Allemands in Louisiana. Our marsh is kept in optimal waterfowl hunting condition through the use of multiple water control structures and year round habitat management.
As a result of this constant care Kappa Loyal has not experienced saltwater intrusion nor the loss of a single acre of habitat. In fact, the ample waterfowl food and forage attracts large numbers of mallards, pintail, widgeon, ringnecks, woodducks, blue and green teal, gadwall and redheads to the blinds.
Upon arrival, hunters travel the well-maintained shell roads of the property to "The Landing," a 3,600-sq ft facility nestled in a cypress swamp, neighbored by a rare bald eagle's nest. There, the aroma of fresh coffee greets you before you take your own boat or are ferried to your exclusive blind. The ferries are spacious, stable and allow ample room for hunters and their equipment.
After a short trip, hunters arrive at a large (32-sq. ft.) surface blind. The camouflage is all natural and consistent with the surrounding habitat.
Following the hunt, hunters return to "The Landing" to relax while reliving the morning and planning for future events. "The Landing" has large handicap accessible male and female restrooms, each equipped with a shower for convenience. While enjoying coffee, the harvested ducks are collected, cleaned and packaged in complimentary insulated coolers.
